The Birmingham LGBT Centre hosts a wide range of independent social groups organised by LGBT people for LGBT people. So whether you’re interested in making new friends, pursuing a hobby or interest, or making your voice heard on issues that affect LGBT people, there’s a group for you.


Acting Out

A gay, lesbian and straight theatre group for both men and women. If you would like to act, help out back stage or just find out more, it’s great fun and you will be made very welcome.


Birmingham LGBT Meetup

The group was founded in early 2015 to bring together LGBT people who wanted to make new friends – and it has done just that!
We hold a monthly coffee afternoon in central Birmingham, regular nights out in the gay village, and a variety of other smaller scale meetups hosted by group members. If you want to organise an event yourself, they would love to hear from you.
